What happens if I'm not home for delivery or cannot be reached at time of delivery?

Not home for delivery? We ask you for all your details to ensure delivery, name address and phone number. This should allow us to make contact but sometimes incorrect information is furnished - really, in the 21st Century! Please don't do this, its unnecessary and idiotic. Our courier company is unable to notify you of exactly when your delivery will take place. It is in this regard that it is imperative to provide us with a delivery address where you will most likely be during office/day hours as well as a contact number. In the event that our courier is unable to reach you at your provided delivery address or on your contact number, they will try and delivery your parcel to you again on the next delivery run. Should this still prove to be unsuccessful, our courier company will get in touch with us regarding the issue, and we will try and resolve it by contacting you from our Lola Montez office. Courier agents, cannot be expected to contact you via cell phone, so please ensure someone is available to receive your parcel. Your parcel will be packed in a brown bag and a courier flyer unless it needs to be boxed. How do I know my Lingerie size?

Our Lingerie size guides are as detailed as possible to help you find the perfect fit. Many items are one size fits most so if you are ultra skinny or on the larger size many of the items will not look great on you. How's that for honesty! We suggest taking a Medium from a size 32 and up due to the stretch of the lace and satin fabric. If you are still concerned and in order to avoid disappointment on ill-fitting garments , please send us your hip and waist measurements and the Lola Montez team will make sure that we send you the fit based on the styles you have selected. For your hygiene and ours, we are unable to accept any returns on lingerie purchases. We make every attempt to ensure you get the correct item and size. If it is not what you ordered DO NOT OPEN the packaging. Once the seal is broken there is nothing we can do and you will have to find a friend to give it to. You have been warned. We suggest following the wash care instructions closely to ensure that you receive the utmost longevity from your special product. What happens if my order is late?

What happens if my order is late? Whilst Lola Montez’s service delivery is all about quick turnaround times. We try to make sure you get your parcel within 48 hours of receipt of payment. So if you are paying by EFT don't forget to send us proof of payment so we can process your order as soon as possible. In the rare instance that we are unable to honour our dispatch rule we will contact you personally to notify you of the delay - either by the email or via the contact number which you have provided. If you have given us the incorrect information we cannot get hold of you, so just don't. If the vibrator you have purchased is not available from the local distributor it will go onto back order. the Lola Montez staff will advise you when the estimated time of arrival is and you will be given several options. You can wait for the back order to arrive or we will offer you an alternative product which is similar in style, quality and price. If neither those options suite you we will cancel your order and refund you in full. We'd like not to but you absolutely may. Can I pay by EFT?

You are welcome to pay us for your adult toys and lingerie via traditional bank transfer. When completing your order, you'll have the option to select "EFT" and then you can pay by EFT. Refund options for a return?

 What are my refund options for a return? Returns will only be accepted if the product you received was dispatched incorrectly or the adult toy you received is broken. You MUST register your adult toy on the Lelo website for the warranty to be active. Once we have received the faulty unit as well as the warranty card, we will send your product to our faults department for inspection. Please ensure that the adult toy is properly cleaned before sending it to us. If it is unclean we reserve the right to destroy it and not give you an opportunity to collect it. It will be your punishment for being siff - so don't If your product is indeed deemed faulty, a replacement unit will be sent to you. International Orders - Can Lola Montez deliver outside of South Africa?  Yes, Lola Montez ships to Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana & Lesotho, shipping costs a lot more. We have many clients who purchase our sex toys from Ghana, Nigeria and Zimbabwe (but hey collect and take it home in the suitcase). Deliveries to these areas take anything from up to 4 to 8 working days (provided there are no unforeseen delays) and delivery charges are calculated according to the size, weight, and value of your order). Out of stock items?

Out of stock items, what do I do? Whilst Lola Montez tries to have as much of the inventory available at any given time, we often sell out faster than what we are able to replenish. Often we think there is still plenty of stock of adult toys and then we have a run on an item especially if it has been mentioned in the press. Most of our stock is imported from all over the world. Some is flown in and some is shipped but we can always establish and estimated time of arrival. If you order something that is out and not marked as such on the Lola Montez website - www.lolamontez.co.za, one of our team will contact you and you will be given a number of options. We will try to match the product with something similar, you can wait for the order to arrive or we can refund you. If an item is displayed as 'out of of stock', you will not be able to add them to your cart. We will however be able to notify you should you require feedback and when that particular item is back in stock by clicking on the product, and selecting the ‘Notify Me’ tab. Will I have to sign for my order?

Will I have to sign? For your security and ours, we ask that you sign the waybill presented to you by the courier agent. This signature acknowledges that you have received your package safely. Nothing on the parcel or the waybill indicates that the parcel contains a vibrator or sex toy. Neither does it contain any Lola Montez branding. It recently came to our attention that many buy adult toys and dildos from that large online retailer named after a jungle in South America. The reason - people will think I've bought a book! I have two things to say 'Which people and who cares?' But if you are still concerned that the courier will be judging you know that the product is recorded as medical and all the paper work says Sharon Gordon and I really don't think I'm that famous. How do I make a purchase?

They will under no circumstances will be sold or divulged to third parties. This excludes the use of the user’s delivery address and contact details, which will be issued to the Courier service provider, in order to fulfill delivery. How do I return a faulty vibrator or damaged product?

How do I return a faulty vibrator or damaged product? In the rare instance that an adult toy is damaged or faulty on delivery, please fill out our form on the Contact Us page on our website or phone us on 0861 565266 within 24 hours so that we can rectify the situation immediately. You can also email Lola Montez on info@lolamontez.co.za. Please include your order number and a detailed description of the sex toy and the problem, and we will revert as soon as possible, advising you on exactly how to proceed. More often than not it is a simple problem that we have encountered with your adult toy more than once before. Like ensuring the batteries are the right way around or unlocking the travel lock on your newly acquired vibrator. If the sex toy remains faulty or damaged dependent on our supplier's inspection report and product inspection, Lola Montez will gladly replace your damaged or faulty product with an exact substitute, provided it is still within warranty or has been reported within 24 hours of delivery. In the event that we are unable to exchange your product due to insufficient stock levels, we will offer a similar substitute of the nearest or same value. Some luxury brands like Lelo have a product guarantee that extends the warranty period. There are terms and conditions attached so read the warranty documentation and register the vibrator on delivery. In all the years we have been operating I can count on one hand the returns due to fault or damage.
Is VAT included?  Is vat included or are all prices displayed inclusive of VAT? Yes, all prices displayed under each product are already inclusive, you will never pay more than the displayed price. WE know many sites make it look as if they are cheaper and then when you check out they add an additional 15% for Value Added Tax. You will not get this surprise on the Lola Montez site. Processing a return? Processing a return at Lola Montez does not happen very often. Because of the intimate nature of our products - vibrators, sex toys for women, sex toys for couples and sex toys for men we do not offer returns unless Lola Montez has delivered the incorrect item and you have not ordered the product. We can only offer a return if the packaging of the sex toy or lingerie is still sealed and remain unopened. Depending on the reason for the return and the extent of the problem, we endeavor to process all queries and notify all customer's of our action plan within a 24 hour turn around time. Opened toys and used toys cannot be returned under any circumstances even if you have never used them. What are the opening hours of your Store?  We work normal business hours from 9h00 to 17h00 and on Saturday from 9h00 to 13h00. We no longer have bricks and mortar stores but we still offer the same Lola Montez service online and if you have any enquiries just call us on 0861 5652 66, contact us on the Contact Us page on the Lola Montez website, us the chat bot  on the site or call 011 784 2173, and we will help.
